What does ATOL cover?
ATOL protection ensures you won’t lose money or be stranded abroad if the tour operator or airline goes out of business.
- If you’re in the UK when a travel provider fails, ATOL ensures you get a refund.
- If you’re already abroad, ATOL ensures you’re brought home safely without additional cost.
You’ll receive an ATOL Certificate as soon as you book an ATOL-protected trip — please check it carefully and keep it safe.

Trust Account & TTA Protection
What does a Trust Account cover?
As a TTA member, all client funds are placed into a designated Trust Account managed independently. This ensures:
- Your money is only released to suppliers when it’s safe to do so.
- Your funds are 100% secure, even in the unlikely event that we or a supplier cease trading.
- If for any reason your funds are not in the Trust due to fraud or dishonesty, a TTA financial guarantee steps in to reimburse your loss.
